Lluis Bruguera
Lluis Bruguera is the father of Sergio Bruguera, one of the most constant ATP and now Black Rock Tour players in the world. He is regarded to be not only the “developer” of Sergio Bruguera (ATP No.3, twice winner of the French Open and winner of the Olympic silver medal) also of Fernando Luna (12 years ATP Top 50, now member of the trainer team of the BRUGUERA TENNIS ACADEMY) and Juan Aguilera (ATP 7). At the WTA tour seven titles have been won as well as many at the kids and juniors tour.
Furthermore Lluis Bruguera was the Davis Cup team captain (M. Orantes, F. Luna, J. Higueras, A. Jimeno ), technical director of the Real Federation Española de Tenis and lots more.
With the foundation of the BRUGUERA TENNIS ACADEMY TOP TEAM in 1986 Lluis Bruguera gave expression to his enthusiasm for youth development. “The individuality and personality of a young person can get skilled and trained, but should in no case be hurted”. This is one of the most important basic principles of his trainer philosophy.
