Cooperation extention to the Russian languague area

In January 2008 Eduard Gisys and Kostyantyn Oflidis stayed in Vienna. Goal of this travel was to sign the global partner cooperation contract between the Bruguera Tennis Academy Top Team the Bruguera Coaches & Players Club and the Tennis Club ACE in Donetsk/ Ukraine.
Eduard Gisys, former professional in Soccer at Schachtor Donetsk and manager in the Telco business will be responsible managing the economical part, Kostyantyn Oflidis, former ATP player and coach will be responsible as the head coach for the Ukraine. Base for CPC Ukraine will be the Tennis Club ACE in Donetsk. President of the ACE club is Valeriy Podluzhniy, who did win several medals in long jumping at European and World Championships as well as in the Olympic Games in Moscow 1980.
This partnership and the foundation of the Bruguera Coaches & Players Club UKRAINE is one more step to spread the "Methode Bruguera" more wide.
Signing the contract was followed by a travel to Barcelona, to visit the Bruguera Tennis Academy Top Team. Head Coach Kostyantyn Oflidis got his certification as a Bruguera Coach (see the photo Lluis Bruguera passing the certificate over to Kostyantyn Oflidis).
A lot of experiences had been shared between Lluis Bruguera (President Tennis Academy Top Team und CPC), Xavier Torner (Director Top Team und Vice-President CPC), Fernando Luna (ATP Top 30 player and Head Coach Top Team) and Kostyantyn Oflidis. Kostyantyn did also work a lot with all Bruguera Academy coaches, to setup a wide knowledge about the "Methode Bruguera".

Lluis Bruguera visits Vienna

Last august Lluis Bruguera and Xavier Torner stayed at the Vienna Tennis Academy T-LAB ( Tennis LAB Austria), founded by former Davis Cup-player Wolfgang Schranz and ATP-Coach Roland Berger (both have the Bruguera certificate). This meeting did focus on knowledge and information transfer as well as on intensifying the cooperation with BRUGUERA TENNIS ACADEMY TOP TEAM in Barcelona.
The Spanish tennis specialists made use of their visit to see more tennis-centers and the way of tennis-education there. Besides they met other Bruguera certified coaches in Vienna.
Davis Cup-Team Oman

The Oman Davis Cup Team players Khalid and Mohammed Al Nabhani were practising for the Arab Games 2007 and the Davis Cup 2008 at the BRUGUERA TENNIS ACADEMY in Barcelona. There they were managed by coach Fernando Luna.
Oman obtained the best result in Davis Cup 2007 raising up in Asia/ Oceania Group II. In Davis Cup 2008 Oman will compete against New Zealand (08/02-10/02/2008)
CPC-Manager Johannes Gruber visits Barcelona
The target of CPC, the BRUGUERA Coaches & Players Club located in Vienna, is to advertise the so called "BRUGUERA method" both at home and abroad.
In the first term of 2008 the new DVD “Technique and Philosophy of Lluis Bruguera” will be released, produced and merchandised by CPC.
Therefore the preliminary talk with CPC-manager Johannes Gruber took place in Barcelona.

Gari Petrosyan, from the BRUGUERA TENNIS ACADEMY trainer team did visit the T-LAB in Vienna, managed by Wolfgang Schranz and Roland Berger, both Bruguera certified coaches. Goal for this visit was to share experience and to support players from The T-LAB on tournaments, during this time.
